Recent Wingate Wyndham Wilmington Review: "This hotel stay was the result of a last-minute decision to go to the beach for the weekend during the month of July, so hotels were obviously limited. There was nothing available on the shore, of course, but we did find the Wingate at Wyndham in Wilmington, which was about a 10 minute drive to the shore. It was literally in walking distance from a huge Walmart, which we needed several times during our trip, and surrounded by good places to eat. The staff was very courteous, though we didn't need to deal with them too much, as everything was as expected, if not better, during our stay. Aside from the continental breakfast being restocked somewhat slowly, a fact that was forgivable given how busy it was that morning, there wasn't a single problem or inconvenience with our stay. The room was large, comfortable, and very clean upon check in, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the Wilmington, NC area."
