| Location is decent, right on Market street in Wilmington, close enough to the beach for easy access, but not so close that tourists are all over the place.
Seems like one guy runs the place most of the time-- he was friendly and got the job done.
Breakfast in the morning was a joke, so don't count on it before spending a day at the beach.
The room was a little old, with cracks in ceilings and the like, but it was clean, and functioned just fine.
It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it did the job just fine (and the AC worked really well!), and the price is right. I would recommend it. |

| I would only stay at this hotel if i had no other options. Your free breakfast is stale cereal and stale doughnuts. You can't sit outside without giant cockroaches passing you by on the sidewalk. A lady told me she had one in her bathroom; thank God I didn't I would have screamed. When you take a shower the water doesn't drain properly and stays in the bathtub the whole time until you turn it off. Hot water is excellent though! Sand in the "clean" sheets.
Only go here if you have no other options or if you just want a place to sleep at and nothing else.
Hotels for this price elsewhere are not as bad as this one was. |

| The Travelodge was easy to find. Plenty of places to eat nearby, staff was helpful with map of Wilmington and information. Alll in all we would recommend Travelodge. |

| The hotel was on our . way to the beach.The hotel was quiet so we got some needed rest. The next time we are in the area we will be staying there. very pleased. THANK YOU . |

| My neighbor in the room above me was stomping and riunning around making noise till the wee hours in the morning. the floors and walls are paper thin so be sure to get a room on the 2nd floor if you stay here. |

| This motel is a good location close enough to the beach for a day visit but not too close that the crowds overwelm you. The contintal breakfast was simple, (donuts & ceral), but if you want more Bojangles is across the street. This motel was in the process of some much needed remodeling whenever we stayed there. It was not at all like the reviews which were posted the past few weeks. It was fairly clean & had good service. I believe I got what I paid for. If you want a top class motel with 5 star rating you should consider that when you choose your lodging. If you just want a clean place to stay & a hot shower (as I did) then this Travel Lodge is a good choice.
Remember when looking for a choice motel what you want. Most people only write ratings to complain.
I choice this motel due to an unexpected trip to the area which happened to be on the busiest holiday weekend of the year (Memorial weekend). I read the ratings which were poor but my choices were limited. I decided to step out on faith & give it a try & this motel suited my needs (1 nite stay, clean room, hot shower & cost efficent). I was satisfied with this motel & would stay there again if ever in the area. |

| Staff was wonderful - rooms left alot to be desired. Run down, shoddy, air conditioner smelled like some one peed in it. Room was clean - just in desperate need of repairs. |

| Though there were some small maintenance issues (the microwave door window was broken and the remote was missing from the room) The very nice gentleman at the front desk was very very kind in solving these issues. He was kind apologetic and friendly and went out of his way to help U/us. The Hotel was merely a few miles from downtown Wilmington and located close to several stores including a grocery store and some fast food places which were within walking distance. The TV channel selection was modest but enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to save some money and weren't expecting the Ritz! I truly enjoyed my stay. |

| The price was so fantastic I was very leary of what I would find when I got to the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised to find a clean room and friendly staff. The hotel is old but kept up fairly well. The midnight manager was very friendly and helpful and most accomodating. We had a problem with our key card being dated wrong so couldn't get into our room on our final night. There was a note on the door of the office stating they would return in 10 minutes, but we had to wait an hour in our car before any staff showed up to let us into our room. That was our only problem and I would still recommend this hotel and plan to return on my next trip if the prices remain this reasonable. |
