| This was our 2nd stay with the Residence Inn family in North Carolina, the people were fantastic, the Hotel is great, if you are in Raleigh, you will meet a wonderful man named Wayne, the kindest and politest southern man I ever met, he alone was worth my trip, the houskeeping on the other hand was so so, the rooms were recently updated but the cleanliness was poor, lots of dust, and the house keepers were smokin outside the rooms with the doors open and it stunk up the room of smoke, and it is supposed to be a smoke free Hotel, oh well, we tried to not think about it and still had a great time, the Wilmington location was great also except for housekeeping, not so clean, and the bar closes at 10:00 pm, looks like they dont like to serve the customers to late, oh well, drinking in the room, other than that a great hotel |

| Desk people were great with directions and dinner suggestions. Other than very noisy air conditioner in room, the place was really good. |

| Great spot close to thebeach and to upscale shopping and dinning. Direct access from major roads norths , south and west. |

| Our biggest issue is that we were on the first floor and you could hear the people above us stomping around. You couldn't hear them talking just them moving around above us.
It was awful because they woke up before 6:00am.
They would wake our toddler up from his sleep.
I have never stayed in a hotel before where this was such an issue.
We also had issues with the TV. The picture was fuzzy for our 6 day stay. They said it was the cable company and were having issues with them. However, we had family in two other rooms and there TV's had a clear picture.
Then, just other issues. Faucet in kitchen leaked, ice maker didn't work, the remote control broke.
The staff was very nice, but there was something about every day that broke or went wrong.
Besides the fact that we were up so early every day with the noisy people above us. |

| It isn't as exclusive as a hotel on the beach but the peace and quiet that its location buys you are a welcome reprieve from the craziness on the beach. The price is reasonable, too. |

| We came to Wilmington to consider the area as a retirement option.
We love this hotel. Our room was situated on the second floor and it was roomy and comfortable. If the two air conditioner units on the ground floor hadn't made such a racket our 98% stay would've been 100 percent. But it wasn't so bad that we needed a room change. We'll just make sure to not stay in 211 again. |

| Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and excellent service. Many different restaurants close by to choose from. Close to a beautiful outside mall. Highly recommended!! |

| Nice hotel for families. Friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and include full kitchen. Great breakfast buffet with variety of food offered in the morning. Property is clean and well-maintained; nice touch is the covered porch with rocking chairs and overhead fans. Pool is nice and very clean. While not on the beach, the property is within a close drive and there are shops and restaurants within close distance as well. |
