Recent Comfort Suites Southport Review: "This is a wonderful hotel for a small town. You are close to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only had a small trouble with check in clerk she was busy on her cell phone. On our last night I received a call from the desk at 9:30pm asking if we had pets. Well yes we checked in with 2 dogs and had walked them past the desk several times  each day. Our cell phone talking check in person had not paid attention and had not charged us for this nor had she put us on the correct floor and wanted us to move to the first floor the night before we left. I told her no we would be leaving in the morning. So if you bring your pets make sure you get a 1st floor room."
