| For the price the hotel service is acceptable. Although, the image of the hotel could be much better if they would not have that bar open for such a low class, undesirable individuals. Specially Friday and Saturday nights, is scaring for the hotel's guests to walk around the parking lot with all those motorcycles and unfriendly faces of all colors and genders talking and drinking freely outside at the corner of the hotel where the bar is located. All this makes the hotel a not good atmosphere for a decent family group. |

| This was a pleasantly surprising stay, as the hotel was cleaner and the staff was much friendlier than I had expected for the price will stay at again if I'm ever look g for a cheap get away |

| Room was comfortable and clean. Rooms are needing upgrading. Hard to control shower faucets leak..etc. Value for the price was good. |

| This hotel has excellent access to downtown Wilmington but is older in appearance and feels "cheap". However, the room was clean and the staff very friendly. |

| When I went to check in I had to wait as the clerk was on the phone. When he got off the phone rang again, so instead of helping me he answered the phone. This went on for 10 minutes. When I finally got registered, I head to my room. He gave me 2 keys first one didn't work, fortunately the second one opened the room. The palce was clean, but old. Rusty and stained fixings. Definitely needs to be remodeled. Bed was hard too. A/C very noisy! Extra furniture in room should be removed. I got the room for 3 days, on the third day none of my keys would open my door. I had to go to the front desk to get them "fixed"! Thought it was a little pricey for what you got. If your looking for a "nice place" to stay this isn't for you. If you just need a bed and shower it's "ok". |

| Tv did'nt work...bathroom was falling apart. We showed up and they told us our room was'nt clean yet..it was around 2pm so we had to wait for another hour and half. The price of the place is ok but the least they could do is have working tv's. The location was pretty bad with traffic to get in and out of the place. |

| The front desk clerk was talking on the phone and barely acknowledged our presence when we walked in. Then, when she hung up, she complained about the caller to me. She also proceeded to complain (repeatedly) about how cold it was in the lobby. She also complained about how many people were there to check in at the same time. All this complaining made me very uncomfortable as I did not know how to respond. Finally, we were given our room keys.
We walked into our room, disgusted to find the following problems: rust damage behind the door hinge, water damage on the ceiling, a piece of carpet cut out and replaced with a contrasting piece, wallpaper peeling off the walls, and the showerhead nearly disconnected from the wall. After we came back from getting some lunch, my husband went to the manager and asked that we be moved to a more suitable room, or we would take our business elsewhere. The manager obliged and moved us to another room. It was much better, but it still wasn't worth what we paid for it- the mattress had a piece of metal sticking out of it which, though not dangerous, was annoying; the drain stopper for the sink didn't work properly, one of the wall outlets did not work; the TV's menu was stuck on Spanish; and there was no channel guide for the TV, nor were there pen and paper (which you would expect to find in even a 1-star hotel).
The cleaning crew did a very nice job cleaning our room while we were out. They left clean towels each time, made the bed (except one time when we accidentally left some personal items on the bed), and vacuumed the sand out of the carpet.
The continental breakfast was kind of small, but it was fine. A nice selection of the foods they did have- different danishes, bagels, and donuts. My husband and I aren't hard to please when it comes to breakfast, so we were pretty satisfied with what we got.

| The hotel is located in the heart of Wilmington so getting to various destinations was easy. The hotel is an older building and could use some repairs. The cold water did not work in my shower but once reported to the front desk it was fixed in a timely manner. I was in the room when the maid came by so she did not come in to clean the room and never came back and I was there for 2 days. The price I paid was exactly what the room was worth. |
